Licensing
All themes and plugins by ProteusThemes are released under the GNU Public License version 2.0 or later. It is the license WordPress is licensed under, and the license we love.
The terms of the licenses for individual plans we offer are explained on our Pricing page and can change without prior notice.
Payments
You can pay easily and quickly with your credit or debit card. We also accept payment via Amazon, Paypal, and wire-transfer. Each theme/plan purchase grants you 1-year access to the ongoing theme(s) updates and support. After 1 year, if you want to continue to get support and updates – which ensure your theme works with the latest version of WordPress and browsers – you will be automatically charged again. At any time, you can cancel the automatic subscription payments on the FastSpring platform, our authorized payment gateway platform.
For security purposes, we do not store your credit card or payment information on our site. You are protected by FastSpring.
Our prices are VAT exclusive, meaning that – depending on your billing location – you might pay more than the advertised price. If you have a valid EU VAT ID, you will be VAT exempted in the checkout process.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify, change, cancel or upgrade a theme subscription and/or license key without prior notice or consent. Prices of all products are subject to change without prior notice or consent.

Warranty
Themes and other digital products sold and distributed by ProteusThemes are done so in the hope that they will be useful, but without any warranty.
We do not guarantee that themes will work in all browsers, nor do we guarantee that our themes will be functional with all versions of WordPress. We do not guarantee compatibility with any additional third party plugins, scripts, or applications.
We test our products when the browsers, WordPress versions and advertised compatible plugins are updated in a timely manner. You will have access to these updates as long as you are on the valid plan for updates and support.
Product Support
Each purchase (license) grants you access to ProteusThemes’ support service, which covers help with setting up your product and direction on how to use the product as advertised. ProteusThemes’ support service does not cover help with theme or plugin customization beyond the advertised features. Also, each purchase (license) grants you access to product updates meant to keep it secure and working with the latest developments of the platforms it is based on (i.e. WordPress).
This support service and access to product updates are valid for one year from the date of your purchase. You can renew your license manually at 50% off the rate presented when purchasing your license.
Limitation of Liability
In no event will ProteusThemes, or its suppliers or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of data or profit, arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the materials offered on this site. Even if ProteusThemes or an authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. If your use of downloads from this site results in the need for servicing, repair, or correction of equipment or data, you assume any costs thereof.
We may occasionally send you emails related to the purchase of product(s) from our company. We may also send you occasional email newsletters relating to updates, promotions and important information. We will never sell or release your email to any third party vendors. You may opt out of these emails at any time without penalty.
Your Account
It is your responsibility to ensure your account security. Be sure that you use good passwords and follow best practices for storing those passwords. It is unlikely, but if you think that your account was being compromised, you should let us know immediately.
Changes
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions to reflect our products and services. Make sure that you check this page regularly to keep up to date.
